Task Hub: To-Do Planner (iOS)

Last Updated

September 3, 2026

Overview

Task Hub is a to-do and planning app for iPhone. It is designed to work entirely on your device. Task Hub does not require an account, has no login, and does not operate a server that receives your tasks. This policy explains what the app stores, which iOS features it can use with your permission, and what happens when you make a purchase or contact us.

Information Task Hub Stores

Everything you create in Task Hub is stored locally on your iPhone using Apple's on-device database (SwiftData). This may include task titles, notes, projects, lanes, deadlines, dates and times, checklists, tags, attachments (photos and files you choose to add), and your app preferences.

This information stays on your device. Task Hub does not upload it, and it is not visible to us. It leaves your device only if you choose to share or export something yourself using standard iOS features (for example, sharing a photo from an attachment).

Data We Collect

Task Hub does not collect your task-management data, and we do not operate a task-data server. Version 1.0 contains no analytics, advertising, tracking, crash-reporting or telemetry software, and it does not send your content to any artificial-intelligence service. Quick Add's natural-language parsing (for example, understanding "tomorrow 3pm") runs entirely on your device.

Calendar Access

Task Hub can show your calendar events alongside your tasks in its timeline and calendar views. To do this it asks for permission to read your calendar using Apple's Calendar (EventKit) framework. Task Hub reads events only to display them; it does not create, edit or delete calendar events, and calendar data is not sent to us. You can grant or revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Calendars. If you decline, Task Hub works normally without calendar events.

Camera, Photos and Files

When you choose to attach something to a task, Task Hub can use the camera (to take a photo), the system photo picker (to choose an existing photo), or the system file picker (to choose a document). These only run when you start them. The photo or file you pick is copied into Task Hub's local storage as part of that task and, like everything else, stays on your device. Task Hub does not scan your photo library or files on its own.

Purchases

Task Hub is a paid app unlocked through Apple's In-App Purchase system: a Monthly subscription, an Annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Apple processes all payments. Task Hub never receives or stores your payment card details, banking information or Apple Account password. The app does receive, from Apple's StoreKit framework, the transaction and entitlement information needed to confirm that you have access — for example, which product you bought and when a subscription renews. This information is used only to unlock the app and to show your plan in Settings. Subscriptions are managed and billed by Apple according to Apple's terms; you can review or cancel them in your Apple Account's Subscriptions settings.

Feedback and Email

Task Hub includes a "Send Feedback" option that opens your own email app with a message addressed to us. Task Hub does not send email itself. To help us understand a report, the pre-filled message includes only the Task Hub version and build number, your iOS version and a generic device type such as "iPhone". It never includes task titles, notes, projects, checklists, attachments, calendar data or any other content from the app. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send the email, and anything you add is entirely up to you. Emails we receive are used to respond to you and improve Task Hub.

Analytics, Advertising and Tracking

Task Hub does not use analytics, advertising or tracking technologies, does not track you across other apps or websites, and does not contain third-party advertising or analytics software. Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous App Store statistics (such as download counts) under Apple's own privacy terms; these do not identify you.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent or share your data, because the app does not send it to us. The only third party involved in running Task Hub is Apple, which handles app distribution and purchases under its own privacy policy.

Data Retention

Because Task Hub stores your data only on your device, you are in control of it. Deleting Task Hub from your iPhone may permanently delete the tasks, projects, attachments and preferences stored in it. Version 1.0 does not include iCloud or CloudKit sync, and we have no server copy of your data, so we cannot restore tasks that were deleted from a device. Your normal iPhone backup (iCloud Backup or a computer backup) may include Task Hub's data as part of the device backup; whether it does depends on your iOS backup settings, not on Task Hub. Emails you send us are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Children

Task Hub is a general-purpose productivity app and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it has no accounts and no data-collection backend.

Changes to This Policy

If Task Hub gains features that change how data is handled — for example iCloud sync, iPad support or integrations with AI assistants — we will update this policy before those features are released and change the "Last Updated" date above. The current version always applies to the current App Store release.
